What this site is

FranchiseVerdict is an independent research database. The data is extracted from public Franchise Disclosure Documents and SBA 7(a) loan disclosures. None of it is investment advice. Read the full FDD and consult a franchise attorney before you sign anything.

Free use

You may use the free data for personal research, journalism, or education. You may cite and link to our data in articles, reports, and AI-generated answers.

Prohibited use

You may not scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from this site using automated tools, bots, scripts, or any other programmatic means. You may not reproduce, republish, or resell our data, ratings, or analyses in any form. Bulk extraction of brand data, investment figures, SBA statistics, or contact lists is expressly prohibited. Violations may result in permanent IP bans and legal action under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) and applicable state computer crime statutes.

Paid contacts ($49 per brand)

One-time purchase. Once paid, you may use the franchisee phone numbers for due diligence calls. You may not redistribute the list, sell it, or use it for marketing campaigns. We extracted these numbers from the brand's Item 20 disclosure; they are public records but they are also people, and we expect you to call as a researcher, not a marketer.

Accuracy

We extract from FDD filings using a documented pipeline (see Methodology). Errors happen. If you spot one, email fixes@franchiseverdict.com and we will check the source PDF.

Limitation of liability

FranchiseVerdict is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee any specific franchise outcome. Past unit performance, default rates, and litigation history do not predict future results.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of this site is limited to the amount you paid to FranchiseVerdict in the 12 months preceding the claim.

In no event will FranchiseVerdict be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, regardless of the theory of liability.

By using this site you agree to indemnify and hold harmless FranchiseVerdict, its officers, and contributors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the site or violation of these terms.

Dispute resolution

Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of FranchiseVerdict will be resolved on an individual basis. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
