Litigation Detail

2021: SPEC sued a franchisee (Vara School Professionals d/b/a TSPA Plainfield) in ND federal court for breach of franchise agreement (unpaid monies, late reports); settled with franchisee paying amounts owed and terminating the agreement. 2013: SPEC entered a consent order with Washington State Dept of Financial Institutions Securities Division after selling one unregistered franchise in 2008, agreeing to cease and desist from violating the state's Franchise Investment Protection Act.
